A scintillating blend of 42% Mourvèdre, 32% Syrah and 21% Grenache with just a touch of Cinsault and Counoise, the 2019 Parvata saw 20% new French oak before bottling. The hedonistic nose delivers dark currants and tar along with espresso bean, dried sage and blueberry compote. The palate is dense and beautifully textured, with a great veil of tension. An incredible spectrum of fruit, from red to dark to blue, combines with garrigue and stony undertones.
