Named after the river that flows through the Dão region, this wine is powerful, concentrated and serious. Still young and full of tannins, it also has ripe black fruits and balancing acidity. The structure brings out the granite soil of the region, with its dark, brooding quality. This is a fine wine that needs to age. Drink from 2018. ROGER VOSS
