“90% Viura and 10% Malvasia; fermented in French oak barrels of varying age and then aged in new French oak for 14 months.  Bright yellow.  Lively smoke- and mineral-accented aromas of tangerine and pear, with a hint of melon adding depth.  Juicy and smooth in texture, offering sappy orchard fruit flavors and a hint of bitter citrus pith.  Finishes dry, nervy and very long, with a bracing jolt of minerality and excellent focus.”
