WINEMAKING The grapes were handpicked off Secrest Hill Road in Oliver in late October. Fermented in stainless tanks, the 2015 Merlot aged for 18 months in 1 and 2 year French Oak barrels. This Merlot spent 6 weeks extended time on the skins after fermentation to further intensify the wine. TASTING NOTES Our 2015 vintage is a Merlot of true distinction, robust yet elegant. Luscious ripe fruit from our Oliver vineyard was aged 18 months in one and two year old French Oak barrels. The result is a balanced wine with depth, soft grained tannins and an endless finish. --Winemaker
