This is the latest and greatest cellar release from Spanish producer Ego Bodegas. On the nose, toasty aromas mingle with ripe fruit and spicy, leathery notes. More of the same on the palate, with a fuller body and smooth, dark berry flavours. Would go well with a juicy aged steak, or heartier meat like lamb or venison. This is a special late vintage release, like the Pezat, for fans of mature wines.
