Douglas Green 2019 Western Cape Chardonnay 750ml

This South African Chardonnay hails from the Western Cape region and was awarded "Grand Gold" status at the 2017 SAWi Awards. After stainless steel fermentation, the young wine underwent full malolactic on French oak, followed by three months of wood maturation. The result is a fresh, zesty, and dry medium-bodied Chard at 14% ABV.

On the nose, lots of tropical fruit and honey melon aromas, followed by delicate citrus flavoured with hints of oak on the palate. Fruity and plush finish. Enjoy with baked fish dressed in herbs and cream, roast chicken, and creamy pasta.
