Dominio de Tares 2020 Godello Fermentado en Barrica 750ml

The white 2014 Godello Fermentado en Barrica started fermenting in stainless steel tanks and transferred to 500-liter barrels for the end of the fermentation. It was kept with the lees with weekly stirring for some six months. There is a lot less oak here than in the past, something that I already saw with the 2013, and the nose is floral and full of white fruit with some fennel, aniseed and faint leesy/yeasty aromas. The palate is fresh and shows nice balance with some citric flavors and very good length. It ends very supple. Very pleasant. 15,000 bottles produced.
