Domaine Hatzimichalis 2014 Alfega Erythros Red 750ml

Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Cabernet Franc from selected privately owned sub-mountainous vineyards of Domaine Hatzimichalis in the Atalanti Valley.  Each variety is vinified separately with the technique of classic red vinification. It aged for at least 12 months in French oak barriques in our underground cellars.  Ready to enjoy it now or within the next 15 years.  Deep purple color. Complex, attractive aromas of plums and blackcurrants dominate on an elegant background of vanilla. Aromas of juicy red fruits, marmalade and sweet spices like cloves, dominate in the mouth. Harmonious and well balanced with lively tannins and long fruity finish.  The classic choice of Domaine Hatzimichalis. Domaine Hatzimichalis is a family owned winery located in Atalanti, Central Greece. We have created a unique viticultural mosaic on 220 hectares of privately owned land, where we cultivate various different international and indigenous varieties. Our strict application of the most suitable vine-growing methods ensures excellent crops of grapes. Following the harvest, we employ our years of experience to make quality use of the produce, which is vinified in small individual batches per terroir and carefully shaped by combining modern technology with time-tested traditional methods.
