Domaine des Deux Roches 2021 Macon Villages Tradition 750ml

This gem comes from the Macon Villages villages of Davayé, Charnay-lès-Mâcon and Pierreclos, near the Solutré and Vergisson rocks (Deux Roches = Two Rocks). They are all classified under the Mâcon-Villages name. Benefiting from the geological richness of the clay-limestone soils, they enjoy a variety of exposures and a rather mild climate, combining minerality and roundness. This wine is all stainless steel fermented and doesn’t even sniff an oak barrel during its young lifetime.

All the better to showcase ripe apricot, peach and tropical fruit. Vibranct acidity keeps it all together and highlights stony minerality on the crisp finish. Delish with a huge array of foods from fish and shellfish to poultry and pork, and everywhere in between!
