Domaine de Menard 2014 Cabernet-Merlot 750ml

Elisabeth Prataviera-Jegerlehner and family are 3^rd generation winemakers in Gascogne.  This area is actually more well known for Armagnac.  Although they are producing 700,000 bottles a year, the quality/price ratio is very good.  This wine is lighter and fresher than one would expect from these varieties.  Try with starters including medium-strong cheese.
