This classic expression of a village Chablis comes from vines grown near the Domaine that now average 45 years of age. Both fermented and aged in stainless steel, no oak is ever used at the Domaine, this wine is fresh and lively on the nose with hints of ripe and fresh pear and hints of iodine. The colour is a bright, eye-catching lemon-gold colour. On the palate this wine showcases lemon, lime and chalky notes and finishes with the raciness and vitality you would expect of a Chablis Villages. Very nice.
- Jon Ellison, Marquis Wine Cellars

Daniel Dampt, continuing a 150-year family legacy in winemaking, has merged his vineyard with his father-in-law, Jean Defaix's. Their estate now spans 30 hectares, with 16 hectares dedicated to Chablis and 14 hectares to Chablis Premier Cru, notably in regions like Vaillons, Fourchaume, Cote de Lechet, Les Lys, and Beauroy. They've recently upgraded their cellar, now featuring stainless steel tanks and modern, efficient equipment. This upgrade has boosted their bottle production to 150,000 annually. Importantly, all of Daniel Dampt's wines are produced and bottled on-site, using grapes exclusively from their vineyards, ensuring distinct personality and quality in each wine. Daniel's sons, Vincent and Sebastien, are now actively involved in the family business, bringing fresh perspectives from their training stints in New Zealand and Australia.
