Domaine Confuron-Cotetidot 2012 Gevrey Chambertin "Craipillot" 1er Cru 750ml

Moderately saturated bright medium red. Plum, redcurrant, underbrush, iron and a whiff of tobacco on the nose. Juicy, minerally and dry, in a distinctly uncompromising style. Comes across as lighter and less silky today than the Vosne wines at this address but boasts terrific energy. Lay this one down.
