Whiffs of tar, rubber and blackberry open this simple, lighter style shiraz. Smoked branch offsets perfumed plum on the moderate, soft palate, though the perfumed fruit is somewhat overshadowed by toasty, smokey notes. Dark cocoa and black pepper on the finish.
