CUNE 2014 Rosado 750ml
Marquis Tasting Note:
Founded in 1879 by the Real de Asua brothers, CUNE is one of Spain's Most Historic producers and have been a principal leader in the resurrection of the nearly extinct Graciano grape. The Rosado is 100% Tempranillo and displays bold flavors of blood orange, maraschino cherry, rose petal and pomegranate. This is balanced with a little bit of citrus peel acidity and light tannins on the palate. Pair with spicy dishes, think tacos, chorizo or spicy Asian cuisine.
Critical Acclaim:
Bold flavors of blood orange, maraschino cherry, rose petal and pomegranate mingle in this full-bodied rosé. Citrus peel acidity and light tannins impart structure. This shows the character and color of a light red wine. Distinctive. Drink now through 2016.
