Composed by schists of different types of slate (Llicorella). The soils are stony, dry and poor.
Located in the Villa Sant Martí and Villa Mas Caldera (in Bellmunt del Priorat), these vines are arranged in small terraces with different orientations and altitudes. Bush vines and Cordon Royat. All work is done manually.
VINIFICATION AND AGING
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks of 3.000 and 5.000 liters. Each variety is vinified separately in order to extract the full potential of each grape. The wine is aged in French oak barrels of 225 and 500 liters for 10 months.
Juicy fruit with a clean and mineral finish in a medium bodied red wine. Aromatic, leaving memories of currant, strawberry and plum, wrapped in soft tannins with a hint of stony soil.
