Description
The Chardonnays from CheckMate's second vintage are again subtly differentiated in interesting ways. This one is built with Dijon clones 76 and 95. Half was fermented with wild yeasts and all was aged 17 months in 50% new French oak. It's layered with flavors of apple, lemon and pineapple, and finishes with hints of butter cookie and bracing wintergreen.
