80% Cabernet Sauvignon 20% Merlot
Château Pichon Baron is featured among top Bordeaux wines, ranked Deuxième Cru in the historic 1855 classification. The history of the Pichon family goes back to the early 1600s. Precise and fleshy; very elegant with expressive and complex aromas. Black fruits, blueberry, baking spices, with some cedar and sandalwood details emerging during its long finish. A lot of development after decanting. Pair with grilled foie gras topped with a walnut and sultana compote.
