Looking just as good as the 2016, a prospective blend of the 2017 Ventoux Quintessence had me licking my lips in anticipation. It's full-bodied and rich yet crisp on the finish, just loaded with blueberry fruit and hints of dried spices.
One of the largest estates in the Ventoux, Château Pesquié is now completely organic, with the goal of being biodynamic in 2019. The Chaudière brothers, Alexandre and Frédéric, deserve great credit for building on their parents founding vision.
