This 2013 Merlot-dominant (70%) Bordeaux also contains 25% Cab Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon from 35 year old vineyards in Saint-Emilion. The Dubreuil family purchased the Chateau in 1985 and continue to work their 15 hectares and improve with each release. On the nose, aromas of cinnamon, pepper, liquorice and red fruit. Full-bodied with supple tannins, blackberry, and more pepper. This is well-priced St. Emilion, ready for drinking, or to be held a few more years.
