- A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc. Aged in 45% new oak for 14 months.
“The 2014 Gloria has a powerful bouquet with blackberry, boysenberry and cedar—forthright and demonstrative. The palate is structured and quite masculine, a light marine influence filtering through, but just missing a little complexity on the second half, where I would like to see more Cabernet expression. Perhaps this is one Saint Julien where I expected more. Tasted twice with consistent notes.”

“The 2014 Gloria is a bold, powerful wine. Dark cherry, smoke, licorice, tobacco and underbrush effortlessly fill out its frame. Ample and richly textured, the 2014 offers remarkable depth, power and pure pedigree. Pomegranate, blood orange and iron add further complexity on the finish. This is a superb showing. Tasted two times.”
