This wine is made from a selection of Sauvignon grapes from the best vineyards of the Chateau. This terroir is composed of limestone and flint in the town of Sancerre. The owners are the Marnier Lapostolle family, who are natives to the region. For this reason, they are the only wine sold under the proprietary name "Chateau de Sancerre."
