From the oldest known Chateau in the region, this wine is a Rhone blend of 75% Syrah and 25% Grenache grapes. Bunches are destemmed and macerated for 18 days under temperature control. A lovely deep red and a nose dominated by aromas of the local garrigue. Flavours of red fruit (blackcurrant and raspberry) fades to a finish tinged with hints of toast. Smooth and fresh with soft tannins, this is a wine to enjoy today. Pair with white meat and grilled food.
