"The finest Croizet Bages I have tasted and, along with the 2009, a sure sign that this property is finally re-emerging after decades of mediocrity. Deep ruby/plum/purple, with a classic nose of black currants, cedar, Christmas fruitcake and licorice, this wine is flavorful, savory medium to full-bodied, with silky tannin. This is one of the last classified growths to get its act together, and kudos to them. Anticipated maturity: now-2028. 89 points"
