The NV Premier Cru Platine Brut is from vineyards in Bouzy, Eceuil and Villers Allerand and blends 78% Pinot Noir with 16% Chardonnay and 8% Pinot Meunier. The actual release is based on the 2014 vintage, complemented with 35% of reserve wines aged in barrels. Bottled in July 2015, this cuvée was disgorged in December 2017 with a dosage of six grams per liter. Pure and fresh on the nose, with nutty and toasty flavors, this is an elegant, nicely lean and fruity as well as very stimulating Brut to be served as an aperitif. The finish is tight, fresh and pretty long. Tasted in April 2018.
