Produced from 70 year old vines located in Oger, this Champagne shows power, finesse and concentration. On the nose, complex aromas of pear, brioche, pink grapefruit, limestone, and a hint of smoke. More of the same on the palate, with flavours of apple, citrus, toast, lots of fruit, and hints of minerality. Long a delicious finish. Drink this bottle not alone but with food like fresh oysters with mignonette.
