Description
The 2015 Ambonnay shows all the natural breadth and intensity of this Grand Cru village in its broad shoulders and overall intensity. The Ambonnay is also fascinating to taste next to the Mailly, as it is a much richer wine from an earlier-ripening site, in other words a pretty stark contrast. Sweet red cherry, red plum, spice and dried flowers build into the dense finish. Dosage is 3 grams per liter. Disgorged: July 3, 2020.
