The color is deep ruby with a purple rim reflecting its youth. The nose is very marked by fresh red fruits (strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant) developing more jammy notes with agitation. The tannins are young but supple, the volume in the mouth is significant. Dominance of cherry and spice notes. Nice finish.
[Pair with] Everyday cuisine, red meat, ratatouille and particularly Provençal recipes.

Founded in 1929, the Cave de Cairanne is located in the heart of the Crus of the Southern Rhône Valley, in the Vaucluse department, on the left bank of the Rhône, near the main flagship appellations of the Côtes du Rhône including Chateauneuf du Pape, Gigondas and Vacqueyras.
The 65 Winegrowers of the Cellar pass on their passion for the land from generation to generation and work some 550 hectares of vines to produce quality wines, appellation Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages, Villages Plan de Dieu, Cru Cairanne , Cru Rasteau as well as organic and sulfur-free wines.
A cellar on a human scale (a dozen winegrowers produce 80% of the wines) where the ambition to give birth to pleasure wines with strong personalities prevails.
With grapes picked at the end of their maturity, drastic selections and carefully calibrated wine-making, the Cellar produces a grandiose series of wines, at the top of their appellation.
