Cave de Cairanne 2019 Cairanne "Grand Reserve" Blanc 750ml

These wines come from a vineyard located in the town of Cairanne (in the Vaucluse department, on the left bank of the Rhône), opposite the Dentelles de Montmirail and Mont Ventoux. The vines are planted on stony clay-limestone slopes, on gentle slopes well exposed to the sun.

Straw yellow color with green reflections. The first nose is floral then appear notes of white fruit (peach). After the freshness of the attack, floral and honeyed notes dominate. The finish is very round with a beautiful aromatic persistence.

Created in 1929, the cellar is situated in the heart of the Cru of the Meridional Vallee of the Rhône, in the Vaucluse region on the left bank of the Rhone. It is near the star appellations of Chateauneuf du Pape, Gigondas and Vacqueyras.

The 65 winemakers in the cellar pass on their passion for the earth from generation to generation, and they work over some 550 hectares of vines to produce quality wines.
The appellations are : Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages, Villages Plan de Dieu, Cru Cairanne, Cru Rasteau as well as some organic wines and sulphite-free wines.

We are a cellar built on a human scale (a dozen winemakers produce 80% of the wines) whose ambition is to give birth to pleasurable wines with a strong character.

With grapes picked at maturity, drastic selection, and perfectly calibrated wine making, the cellar produces a grandiose series of wines, the best in their appellation.
