The history of this variety dates back to the beginning of the twentieth century in the Treviso wine region when it developed from a crossing between Riesling Renano and Pinot Bianco. Elegant, aromatic and gracefully contoured, with hints of flowers and tropical fruit. Dry, fresh and plush this wine has a good structure supported by balanced acidity and savoury tones. The finish is long and lingering. It is ideal served with vegetable dishes, particularly asparagus, risottos, fish and crustacean dishes.
