The growing season began three weeks later than normal and cooler than average temperatures resulted in delayed budding and flowering of the wines .With autumn arriving earlier than expected, grapes were left hanging longer in order to develop the fruit flavors, powerful tannins and a firm acid backbone that will give the wines from this vintage a long life.
2013 SYRAH is smooth, complex balanced and elegant. A spicy and floral wine rich in blackberry and currant, with hints of pepper and licorice with a nice full bodied finish. A French style wine with soft vanilla and toffee notes that complement the fruit with medium to firm tannins.
Pairs well with roasted beef, grilled striploin or steaks, chicken, pork, grilled lamb and rich game meats and medium and strong cheeses.

We use Canada Post for the majority of deliveries and a courier for those nearest our location. If you are not at home when Canada Post attempts delivery of your package, they will leave a note with the nearest pickup location. By law, we cannot ship outside of the province and packages delivered by Canada Post cannot be left on the doorstep. Packages shipped to downtown Vancouver may arrive the same day or next day depending on time of order. Order cut-off is generally 11am PST on a best-effort basis.
