Quijada is the surname of a producer who, in Apalta, Colchagua, produces this Semillón on unirrigated land. It was harvested by Viña Carmen on February 20, before being fermented and aged in barrels for six months. A bright greenish yellow, it has a nose of honey and acacia over a bottom note of delicate, yeasty wood. In the mouth, its refreshing qualities compete with the smooth texture and a lengthy and expressive finish that demands a second glass.
