A cooler and slightly more restrained nose reluctantly offers up aromas of both red and dark pit fruit aromas that are cut with hints of forest floor, earth and the sauvage. There is lovely vibrancy and very good detail to the tautly muscular and mineral-driven medium weight flavors that also exhibit evident power on the youthfully austere finish. If this develops more depth it could be quite special as LSJ loves hotter vintages.
