Created by the masterful Alain Brumont, this wine is a 60/40 blend of Merlot and Tannat from vineyards between Bordeaux and the Pyrenees. On the nose, aromas of raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, and plum. Well-structured, fruit-forward, moderate tannins and medium acidity. Smooth in texture with a relatively brief finish. Pair with wild sockeye salmon, pâté, or pork.
