Brilliant bourbon, bottled up at a burly 62.7% ABV, and boasting a full-bodied flavour profile of toasted sugar, dense vanilla, rye spices, and charred oak. Spectacular stuff.
Nose: Pain au chocolat dipped in coffee, intense woody spices, buttered corn.
Palate: Caramelised sugar, black pepper, more coffee, vanilla pod, and a hint of anise.
Finish: Fruity on the finish with poached pear and toffee apple, while the rye spices mellow just a touch.
