Jiménez-Landi Bajondillo 2017 is an intense, balanced and fresh red wine. This vintage has somewhat more body without losing the fluidity that characterises it. Aromas of ripe red fruit on the nose still stand out, with light floral notes.

Jiménez-Landi Bajondillo is a red wine produced by the Jiménez-Landi in the Méntrida region. Jiménez-Landi is located in the town of Méntrida (Toleado), an area with a century old tradition in viticulture. The aim of the winery is based on viticulture that is respectful to the environment and the use of the Garnacha grape, a native variety to the region.

Jiménez-Landi Bajondillo is prdouced using Garnacha and Syrah grapes that come from vineyards that span 15 hectares that lie between the Dehesa and Pedromoro estate. The vines are between 15-40 years in age, situated 550-600 metres above sea level and are planted soils containing granite.

The harvest is carried out manually in small boxes. As for production, after being destemmed, the must ferments in steels taks for 15-30 days. After vinification, the wine passes through an ageing period of 6 months in French Oak vats of 3000 litres and stainless Steel tanks.

To maintain the character of the wine, it is neither filtered, clarified, not stabilised in the cold.
