Black Hills 2017 Nota Bene 750ml
The 2016 is easily the most elegant Nota Bene I have encountered, no doubt aided by a very controlled 13.5 alcohol. Certainly, it's fresher upfront and brighter, but still with some stingy spice and...

Description
The just-bottled 2014 Blanc d'Enguera is a blend of Verdil with 10% each Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay that is fermented separately and with half of the wine going through a short stage of a couple of months in oak barrels. It has waxy aromas with notes of apples, mint and bay leaf and is quite spicy with unnoticeable oak. The palate is piquant with sweet fruit and good freshness. A good, commercial white. 40,000 bottles were filled just before Christmas.
