Hailing from Alicante, this wine is produced from 90% Monastrell and 10% Syrah farmed high up at an altitude of 600 meters above sea level. These indigenous grapes were picked manually and then fermented for just under two weeks.
On the delicate and complex nose, expect red and black fruit, rose petal, herbs, and fresh forest scents. On the palate, more seasoned red and black fruit. Monastrell's typically powerful first taste is evident here, and becomes more friendly with each additional sip. Drink now or keep for three to four years.
The 2015 vintage is rated as "Very Good."
