Black cherry and black raspberry swirl around vanilla liquor, baking spices, cedar, leather and rose petals. The flavours are raspberry tea, coffee, bittersweet cocoa layered with sun-ripened berry fruits, tobacco and dried herbs. The palate is quite firm, the tannins youthful. I recommend holding off on this one for another year or decanting and letting it breathe before serving.
