This Pinot Gris is straw green in colour with a refreshing palate. Lifted pear and spice aromas & flavours combine with bright acidity and textural creaminess.

Crushing: Whole bunch pressed
Processing: all batches are kept separate from vineyard to blending stage.
Fermentation: 2015 Pinot Gris was harvested in the cool of the early morning at low temperatures to maintain optimal fruit quality. The grapes were pressed and batches were fermented in stainless steel tanks to maintain the natural fresh and lively characters of the fruit. A small percentage was fermented in one and two year old oak to add complexity and texture.
Blending: All batches are kept separate, until blending and samples are taken from each batch. These are assessed by winemaking team who look for fruit complexity colour, tannin and acidity to put together the best possible blend.

Colour: Straw green colour
Aroma: Lifted varietal aromas Pear and spice with a slight nuttiness
Flavour: A refreshing mix of pear and spice. The palate has textural creaminess to enhance the fruit and spice.
