The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is a tasty entry-level Cabernet from Beringer. In 2015, most of the fruit was sourced from valley floor vineyards, a decision made with the goal of creating a more approachable style than that of the past, when the Napa Valley Cabernet was a blend of essentially all the Beringer ranches. Dark, super-ripe and plush, the Cabernet is loaded with crème de cassis, blueberry jam, spice, vanillin, menthol and sweet French oak flavors. Drink it over the next decade or so.
