Benoit Ente 2018 Puligny Montrachet 750ml

Scents of citrus oil, nashi pear, white flowers, warm bread and subtle hints of anise introduce Ente's 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Village, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered wine that's bright and lively, with an elegantly textural attack, fine depth at the core and a long, mineral finish. There's more tension here than in the corresponding Chassagne-Montrachet, and I suspect the rewards of bottle age will be greater.
