This Chardonnay was created using grapes grown on Black Sage Road and demanded to be made into a stand-alone wine. Aromatically, a fruit salad explosion. Pineapple, peaches and cream with a touch of fresh hay dominate this fruit forward wine. On the palate, an intense burst of sweet tropical fruit gives way to a creamy and highly textural mid palate. Lively acidity balanced perfectly makes this a very classy wine. A distinct lack of oak highlights the beauty and versatility of the Chardonnay grape.
