While one of Sicily's lesser-known white varieties, Catarratto is a generously harvested one, most often blended. This one has tropical undertones with a bold perfume of lemongrass, star anise, peaches soaked in honey, anise pastilles and rose-scented soap. It is concentrated, almost oily in weight and has some residual sweetness. Flavours are intensely fruity and floral and it culminates in a pithy grapefruit finish. Delicious!
