Antinori Tormaresca Neprica Rosso 750ml

This 2014 vintage wine is from the Italian IGT of Puglia. It's a delicious blend of Negroamaro, Primitivo, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Grapes were harvested and fermented separately in stainless steel tanks. The period of skin contact lasted 8-10 days, followed by malolactic fermentation. Aged in small oak barrels for a brief period of time, the wine is 13% ABV.

The wine's colour is an intense ruby red. The wine presents notes of fresh notes of plums and brandied cherries, roses, liquorice, and chocolate. This wine is soft, elegant, has great structure, with a savoury minerally quality to it. The notes of red fruit return on the lengthy finish and aftertaste.
