Anthony Buchanan 2021 Micro Cuvee Viognier 750ml

I decided to hold back the nicest 300L barrel of the lot from last year; I didn’t know what would happen with it, but as the months went by, I’d taste it every 2-3 weeks just to see it’s in good shape, and I loved how it was developing. Love how the oak was integrated - 100% new oak.

It was aged in 100% new oak and the wine has blossomed, I thought: this is special, let’s bottle it as a single vineyard micro cuvée. Grilled pineapple. Orange peel. Toast. Fleshy and textured with a juicy acidic bite.
