Description
Amalaya is a genuine representation of the terroir in Argentina's Cafayate Valley, just a couple hundred miles from the border of Bolivia. These higher elevation vineyards produce concentrated fruit, high in acidity, with good balance. Amalaya contains a blend of 85% Malbec, 10% Tannat, and 5% Petit Verdot. On the nose, aromas of raspberry, pepper, and spice. Flavours of red fruit mingle with spice and hints of vanilla from oak aging. Round and soft tannins lead to a lengthy finish. Pair with steak, rich stews, and harder cheese.
