Altos 2012 Las Hormigas Reserva Malbec 750ml

Super complex, this Reserve Malbec adds character of Mendoza limestone to the fruit profile you typically expect from malbec. There's vanilla, violets, loads of fresh fruit and some limestone minerality on the nose. There's a balanced and complex palate, with great length and persistence, presenting flavours of macerated blueberry, cassis, black peppercorn and flint, resulting in a really drinkable wine that's very much terroir driven.
