Leading off the reds, the 2015 Pinot Noir should be another beautiful wine released under the North label. Elegant and complex aromatically, with lots of baking spices, cumin and celery seed, it has a rocking core of fruit, lots of floral overtones, medium to full-bodied richness and an overriding sense of elegance. It will shine out of the gate, yet evolve nicely.

Deep shimmering red. Heady red and dark berry scents are complicated by suggestions of mocha, licorice and exotic spices, and a smoky mineral element appears in the background. Intense, spice-laced raspberry and bitter cherry flavors gain depth and sweetness with air. Powerful yet lithe as well, finishing extremely long and precise, with solid, spicy thrust and fine-grained tannins that add subtle grip.
