Adrian Serrano 2016 Joven Rioja 750ml

This is a young, smooth-drinking wine from Rioja made of Tempranillo. Unlike Crianzas or Reservas, this wine is fermented in stainless steel as opposed to oak in order to magnify its fruity aromas and flavours. On the nose, notes of dark stone fruit such as plum, blackberry, and some raspberry. More of the same on the palate, with balanced acidity and soft tannins. Best paired with smokey BBQ meat, tomato-based pasta, and Mexican cuisine.
