This blend is great alternative to the many pure Pinot Grigios out there and also a characterful wine in its own right. Garganega is a variety of white Italian wine grape widely grown in the Veneto region. It is generally richer than Pinot Grigio and forms the basis of Venetian white wine Soave.
On the nose, lightly aromatic with ripe citrus, apple and stone fruit hints. On the palate expect a classically crisp and easy to drink dry wine with soft, lightly honeyed fruit and a fresh finish. Highly versatile, ideal as an aperitif or with seafood, grilled fish, salads and cold white meats.
